Payout Methods
WarPay Calculator offers three flexible payout calculation methods to suit different faction management styles. Choose the method that best fits your faction's payout philosophy.
1. Tier-Based Payouts
Best for: Factions that want to reward members based on hit milestones
How It Works
Set up hit ranges (tiers) with different pay rates. Members earn different amounts based on how many hits they achieve. This method is great for encouraging participation and rewarding high contributors.
Example Tier Structure:
- • 1-10 hits = $500,000 per hit
- • 11-25 hits = $750,000 per hit
- • 26+ hits = $1,000,000 per hit
Configuration Options
- Pay Tiers: Define hit ranges and corresponding pay rates
- Progressive Tier Pay: When enabled, all hits are paid at the highest tier rate achieved
- Assist Pay: Set a fixed amount for assists (or leave blank for tiered assists)
- Outside Hits Pay: Set pay rate for non-ranked war hits during selected chains
- Chain Selection: Choose which chains to track for outside hits
UI Features
- Tier Table: Shows each member's hits, assists, and calculated payout
- Tier Breakdown: Detailed view of which tier each hit falls into
- Add/Remove Tiers: Easily modify tier structure on the fly
2. Weighted Points Payouts
Best for: Factions that want granular control over the value of hits in specific scenarios
How It Works
Assign point values to different types of hits. This is the most customizable method and supports termed wars and hit limits (both optional). Points are totaled and payouts distributed proportionally.
Example Point System:
- • Ranked war hits = 1 point
- • Chain hits = 0.5 points
- • Target hits = 30 points (bonus for priority targets)
- • Post-term hits = -1 point (discourages hitting after term)
Configuration Options
- Termed Points: Total points required to reach termed status (optional)
- Target Hits: Set target hits to limit point value assignment beyond stated target
- Point Values: Customize points for different hit types
- Post-Term Points: Can be 0 or negative to discourage post-term hits
- Faction Share: Percentage of faction costs to deduct
- Armory Share: Percentage of armory costs to deduct
- Chain Selection: Choose which chains to track for outside hits
Advanced Features
- Termed Status Tracking: Automatically tracks when term is reached through time-sorted attacks
- Hit Limit Enforcement: Any ranked hits after the target count as 0 points
- Negative Points: Penalize unwanted behavior (like post-term hits)
UI Features
- Points Table: Shows each member's points and calculated payout
- Toggle Points/Hits Display: Button in header to switch between viewing points or hit counts
3. Percentage-Based Payouts
Best for: Factions that want to distribute based on ratio of individual score to total score
How It Works
Distributes a percentage of total winnings among members based on their contribution. Simple and straightforward - each member gets a share proportional to their participation.
Example Distribution:
- • 80% to members (distributed proportionally)
- • 10% to leadership
- • 10% to faction supplies
Configuration Options
- Member Payout Percentage: Percentage of total winnings for member payouts
- Leadership Cut: Separate percentage for leader and co-leaders
- Leader Percentage: Specific percentage split for the faction leader
- Co-Leader Percentage: Specific percentage split for co-leaders
- Faction Supplies: Percentage allocated to faction supplies
- Leadership Separation: Toggle to separate leadership from member payouts
- Static Outside Hits Pay: Fixed payment rate per outside hit
- Static Assists Pay: Fixed payment rate per assist
New Features (v3.7.2+)
- Leadership Percentage Settings: Separate percentage controls for leaders and co-leaders for improved leadership payout management
- Static Payment Rates: Set fixed payment amounts for outside hits and assists, allowing for more detailed payout calculations
- Enhanced Payout Display: Outside hits and assists are now shown in the payout table for better transparency
UI Features
- Percentage Table: Shows each member's percentage of total and their payout
- Outside Hits & Assists Display: Clear visibility of bonus payments in the table
- Leadership Summary: Separate section showing leadership cut calculations
- Total Verification: Displays total calculated vs. actual winnings to ensure accuracy
